day off

yay, i get today off.its sunny too, going to clean out the basement today, have a dip in the pool, and relax.its amazing how many things i can get done in a day now that i am not drinking. I love it.I have mastered the fry machine. finally. lol.and the till no longer baffles me. work is going really well. They trust me to open up too. I get things done, and without very many mistakes any more. its all good.its so weird to get paycheques now. lol.my rent will go up, cause i am in B.C. housing, but thats ok, i would rather work than not. it gives me purpose and doesnt give me so much time to stay in my head thinking.the people I work with are mostly wonderful, there are the odd one with issues, that nothing could ever please them, but thankfully there are not many of them. lol.the young kids are great to work with, they love to laugh and have fun.some of them natter on at me all day. lol. and they are right there to run for my orders if i get busy and they are not. its a fast paced job, i think thats what we all love about it. although we all agree that a couple ten minute breaks would be nice. just having half hour for lunch isnt enough in an eight hour shift. nature does call. but usually we can cover for each other when that happens. we get so thirsty though. and have to hide to have a sip. i dont, i just step around the corner, and take it. I guess one girl got caught doing that, and got a long lecture. i am looking forward to a long lecture. lol. ha ha ha ha.anyway, its a beautiful day, got lots to do before i hit the pool.I pray everone has a beautiful day.a sober day.xoxo
