Day 77, early evening

Today is day 77.  I met my goal of regular exercise yesterday by lifting and today by stretching. Woke up pretty tight this morning, so took a nice long time doing some stretches.  It really helped.
Tomorrow would like to go back to the school orphanage archives and see if I can find a photo of my grandfather as a child or my other uncles, but would really enjoy one of my grandfather.
The friend whose parents took me to lunch, I told her about the photo of my great uncle and talked about his life through my eyes and the Hanh meditation.  She said she had read that meditation many times and attempted it a couple times, but she said she never saw so clearly before that what he was referring to was the innocence, the goodness, the heart of people.  The five year old child.  At least the goodness and innocence of what was, even if she said, it no longer existed.  Does it go away?  Hmm.....something for another journal.  Too tired now to bring my thoughts together.
I like to read HONY, and there was one a few months ago, a man talking about his mother who had passed.  He said something like he separated his mother into two different people. He knew his mother always wanted to be the best mother for them and that she hated the alcoholic in herself.  So he embraced and loved the mother.
Today is day 77.  I am committed to making a life change.  I do not drink.  I am the tree, not the leaves.  I am the mountain.  It is day 77 and I am solid.
