Day 7 of a Lenten Prayer
Dear Lord,
I am fighting a cold today. I have the chills, can't stop sneezing. Coughing and my nose is running. Guess you probably knew that already, didn't you? However, I know that eventually this will pass, I will get better. Please help all of us with addictions know that if we want recovery, the urges will pass and we will get better. Yes, I feel like I will never get warm, just like I felt a few weeks ago that I could not go through another day. But yet, I am still here and I just keep working it. Please Lord, help us all to keep working it, despite the challenges that come our way. Thank you for your love you have for each and everyone of us!!
