Day 6- I think
I think today is day 6 of the upping in dose of my antidepressant. I have to say that I go through phases. Some times I feel good, I feel ok, and sometimes I feel the dread trying to take over or anxious for no particular reason. I think I have forgotten how "feeling normal" is. I see people going on about their day and I wonder how they can do it. I had a job interview and it was very exciting and seems like change may be coming in my future. Even if I dont get the position- at least I got out of the home and interviewed and saw all this great research that is developing to help people with epilepsy. Part of my anxiety about this job is that it is full time. A regular 8 to 5 job, sometimes more, sometimes less. I have NO idea why this causes me anxiety. I question if im capable of working all those hours with the limited energy I have at the moment. I question if Ill be able to function, as in- will the fog take over me- after a long day. Ive lost confidence in myself thats for sure. Ironically, these people found my resume online and called me for the interview. They seem to think I have something to offer. And these negative thoughts NEED to go away. I NEED to be more positive. Once again, I feel like ive forgotten how to do it. On a different note, I took a nap this afternoon and had some scary and gruesome nightmares. I wonder if its the prozac?

Are you in therapy? I am currently trying to get an appointment with a psychiatrist that also does psychotherapy. A family friend who is a psychiatrist told me that I will better my chances of recovery than with just medication or TMS alone. She said there are actually studies that show psychotherapy changes the brain, in a good way. Not looking forward to it, but I think I am going to have to.
