Day 6, 7, 8, 9- Doing great!
Day 6- Friday: 2131 calories, went to bowling, did Wii Walk It Out for 30 minutes. I had been doing great all day, eating healthy, etc. Then I got home from bowling and Paul and David were eating nachos and that did it for me! Ugh! I binged!
Day 7- Saturday: My weight went up to 166 lbs. 1220 calories. I did leg lifts and cleaned all day, big time. Did over 7,000 steps just cleaning. Did not do any other exercise.
Day 8- Sunday: Weight down to 165.5 lbs. 1372 calories. I big time cleaned all day. Two days of vacuuming, dusting, laundry, deep cleaning. I got the spare bedroom all fixed up. We are having Thanksgiving dinner here. Thank God, had some beautiful sunshine yesterday as well! I felt great all day and full of energy, but was also very sore from cleaning all weekend. I did 35 minutes of my Gazelle last night and felt pumped up.
My water the last few days is really good too. We had roast duck (made it in my rotisserie) and put orange sauce on outside. It was delicious! I also had rice and carrots. I treated myself last night to an ice cream sandwich. (If I go for the regular ice cream I am more likely to fill a bowl.)
Day 9- Today: I weighed 164 lbs! Woo Hoo! Working from home today. Praying that work is light this week. I am off next week.
Last night, David flipped out again. We have his Ipod for a while as collateral for a "loan" to pay back damage he caused, a skateboard we bought him, etc. Someone gave him an "old" cell phone with 8gb storage and he loaded it with music. Last night Paul told him he is not taking it to school and he flipped out and banged his fist into his dresser with glass on top and shattered the glass. Ugh! But we all maintained our cool. He cleaned it up and it was over.
I HATE to clean but love a clean house. Still have bathrooms to do (hate cleaning bathrooms!) With 2 big hairy dogs, will have to vacuum and dust a few times before Thursday. But this is the cleanest my house has been in months. Feels good. Next week I hope to get a jump on the Christmas decorating. I want to enjoy it this year and not do it at the last minute, dread it, stress over it. I want to take a photo of David with the two dogs and put it in Christmas cards. Oh, Christmas cards! That reminds me. I should do that next week too.
Oh, the other good news. Remmy has been sleeping in my bedroom now for 3 nights, no crate. He is such a good boy! I won't leave him lose yet when we are not home as he still gets in trash cans, etc. Yesterday, he went into the laundry room and jumped on the dryer to get the toys down that had holes in them. (waiting to be sewn.) He pulled everything down and the toys and stuffing was all over. He chewed up another sponge and that was all over. I tell him to get in his bed and he does and Kona and Remmy sleep through the night. Yay! I love my puppies!

Keep going down.. Yeah. Seems some of the days were low on cal. Or are they the calories you burned.
It\'s good that you all kept your cook when David got upset.
Remmy sounds so cute. How is Kona handling remmy in your bed?
Dogs have their own beds- the big round pillow kind of bed. We don\'t allow the dogs on the furniture. it works out great. Kona likes to sleep right next to me, so her bed is right on the floor next to me. Remmy is on his own bed a little bit away from Kona. They both just go right in their own beds and sleep through the night. No problems!
I had to laugh at Remmy getting the toys! I miss having a dog but DO NOT MISS THE HAIR!
Weight loss is going good! Keep up the great effort.
Yea for staying calm with David. Tough love and calm while presenting a united front and he just might decide he needs to be responsible for his actions. My hubby told our son years ago - \"For action you take there will be a reaction and you might not like it. So go slow and think about your next move\" Good advice for everyone!
You are an inspiration, for real!
Good advice Joyce\'s hubby!
Nice work on Days 6-9!!!
Hope your week off went/is going well. And way to go with staying calm with David. Brilliant! I will be coming to you and Joyce for help during the teen years. I have an 11 year old now!! Ahh!!
