Day 48, morning

Today is day 48.  I'm creeping up on day 50.  Again, on one level, I find this completely unbelievable, and at the same time, I know the work I put it into this.  Being at this point didn't happen by accident.  It involved planning and thought and some grit.  I look back at my beginning to now.  It's a big difference.  My body in some ways is still recovering, but I feel patient and understanding.  I want to give my body what it needs and to care for my body in the way it deserves as the holder of my consciousness.
I want to eat well, drink water, stretch and I would like in this next phase to make exercise a priority.  So far I have exercised as I have time with no priority set to it, work or tv often taking precedence.  I feel like I'm far enough in my sobriety now that I'd like to change that, and maybe explore exercise in ways I haven't before.  I have always looked at exercise as a discipline: studying TKD, running training, sticking to a lift schedule. I like to lift.  Could I put more fun into it for myself?  What are some ways I haven't exercised before that I would find enjoyable and fun?  Ways that are less about discipline and more just about exercising for a healthy, enjoyable life.
I am grateful to have made it this far.  I feel proud of where I am and where I'm headed.
Today is day 48.  I am committed to making a life change.  I do not drink.  I am the tree, not the leaves.  I am the mountain.  Today is day 48 and I am solid.
