Day 3 evening

Pretty tired this evening.  Not so sweaty.  Wasn't nauseous today.  Felt fuzzy for a few hours in the morning, but the fuzzy felt better than being hungover.
Found the tonglen audio and listened to it on the way to work this morning.  It was really helpful.
Today was the last day before my transfer.  I won't have the long drive anymore, but I'd still like to get the benefit of the tonglen.  Tomorrow morning maybe I can do it before work at home.  I need to think about the route I will take from work now that it is a different drive home.  Pre-planning for no liquor stores....it's a good thing.
I'd also like to get ready to cycle to work.  I'm not sure physically I'm up for it with still feeling like I'm having withdrawls.  Not such a great idea for tomorrow, but maybe over this week it is something to look at.  Or at least to look at getting into a physical routine like I used to do.  I've lost a lot of weight and muscle mass.  I'll feel it out over the next few weeks.
I met my goals for today.  Water, eating well, took breaks and lunch and didn't stop at the liquor store.  There was a small part of me that wanted to do it, but at that moment, it had the feel of habit rather than actual need.  I also was so focused on going home I forgot to get milk, so I had to go to town.  This would have been an opportunity to go to the liquor store.  I did not.
Reading some of the comments in the support group was helpful this morning.  I can't remember who it was, but this person said it's as simple as making the choice not to drink.  That's it.  I thought about that a lot today.  It was helpful.
Got home, ate dinner, took the dogs for a walk.  That first day when I took the dogs for a walk.  I felt sweaty and ill and really worn after.  Today felt better.  Going to watch a show, read and then go to bed.  Felt a desire to do more but I feel like a lighter evening is better this evening.  Feel good but worn out.
