Day 20: 4 miles today...
Ahh, it's been awhile since I've written. BUT that doesn't mean I haven't been running!
So far in my training, I have skipped one 3 mile run. On Tuesday, I did end up running that 5 miler, but as Ultratodd suggested, that is a tough workout. And I changed my Wednesday intervals to Thursday, and took that Wednesday off instead of "making up" the 3 miles I skipped before. So on Thursday, I did my 6 x 400 and I had a pretty ambitious plan on the treadmill: start at 7.2mph, and go up .4 mph each interval. By the end of it, I was doing 9.2mph for the last one! It was really tough, but I'm glad I did it.
Friday, took another rest day, and today (Saturday) I am scheduled to do a 4m run. Sunday, I will be doing a 6m run, relaxed.
Next Sunday will be my first "test" training 5K! I hope to run it as fast as I possibly can.

Wow you are doing great with your workouts dont worry about m issing a run or two and siitching the long runs and the fast runs the good thing I found about training as that they are really adjustable as long as the consistency is the same You are doing a great job You are so going to rock your run next sunday y
