Day 2

What a difference a workout makes. Days when I hit the gym in the morning are so much easier in terms of food control than are non gym days. Of course, my elbow is killing me, so I should probably take a few days off. Figures.

On a totally unrelated note, I looked into OA meetings yesterday. Apparently you have to swear off sugar and flour for 90 days before they even let you speak. Can that be right? I feel like that'd not be the most helpful thing for people who are feeling especially vulnerable. And yet...

"The requirement that only members of the fellowship with 90 days or more of continuous abstinence in FA, who are working with an FA sponsor, be invited to share." (Technically this is Food Addicts Anonymous, but I'm too lazy to go back and change what I wrote.)

Anywho, someone's having a meeting on Thursday night. I might go. It'd probably be good just to see what it's about and maybe it will help continue this, um, one day trend of feeling better.
