Day 15 and Having Urges
It is 7PM on Day 15 getting ready to drive to my mother's house to visit. Having very strong urges to stop at a liquor store on the way over.
My tape is saying "it's OK if you do it just once".
I feel tense and anxious. This is the worst urge I have had since I started. Wow! I need to have a talk with myself when I get in the car. I'm not going to leave until this urge passes. I don't want to get in the car right now.

I think I will pray for a while.
I am not going to let this get the best of me and have to start over again.

I hated those. Just gotta ride it out. Eachd time you do it just strengthens your sobriety, like \"yes, I can do this!\"
