Day 1 of recovery
So today is the first day after my laparoscopy which saw them put 4 incisions in me... I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and see my gyno on Monday to a) take out stiches and b) discuss full diagnosis.
From what he told my partner he found more than just endo in there - so hopefully all can be sorted soon. He tried reassuring my partner that I'll be ok - but I guess its hard for everyone to think that when no one knows what exactly the other stuff is!
My tummy is swollen and sore, but I've been doing some study and resting today. I also went for a very quick visit to my psych who helped me greatly in relieving the pressure of uni. Stating my health comes first and that if I need to go stuyding part time she will help with centrelink (govt. payments) so I can still survive... thats a HUGE relief.. also she told me she will help with uni transfering! and will put in the application for special consideration based on my medical issues at the time...
