Day 1 (45 day sprint)

OK.  New goal.  I am going to see just how much I can accomplish in 45 days.  Trying a new tactic with myself.  How much exercise can I do?  How much weight can I lose?  How focused can I stay?  45 days is doable.  So this is kind of like Lent.  What can I do in 45 days?  I have been stuck for so long, mentally, physically.  Treading water and tired and going no where.  I don't know what the distance is going to be or what the goal is per se.  Just really work hard, try hard, do my best for 45 days.  Even in a sense to the extreme.  Writing everything down.  For 45 days I am going to try to really eat healthy.  Drink more water, etc.   So today was day 1.  Ate really well.   Coffee, High fiber oatmeal, mango smoothie (small one, no whipped cream), baked potato, butter, chicken thigh and leg, veggies.  Oh yes, and water.  Not great on the water but still trying. My new goal or whatever, is called my 45 Day Sprint.   Ok, exercise:  25 leg lifts, 20 jumping jacks, walk dog 45 minutes.  I am up to 10,211 steps today.  I am going to see how many days out of 45 I can get over 10,000.   Work still hectic.  Got another new fire today.  Worked most of this weekend but did get to read a couple of chapters.  Going to have to start going to bed a little earlier as David needs to get up earlier. He starts school tomorrow.  Goes to school bus 50 minutes earlier this year.  David has been off Adderall for like 3 weeks now.  I don't know about focus at school, but gosh, he seems better to me.  Have to wait another week to start Straterra.  He came with me to walk the dog tonight.  Kona is still my joy in life.  Went to Mom's for dinner yesterday and helped her with some yard work (carrying umpteen bags of rock around to her back yard.)  anyway, very focused and will see how all progresses- weight, home, work.  Weather is good- much cooler.  I like it.  Actually wore a sweatshirt out walking tonight.  I think that, and David going back to school has given me renewed energy.  Oh, and one more thing:  Penn State Football starts on Saturday!!!!!  Whoo HOOO!  Ooh!  Maybe another reason for my renewed energy?!  OMG!  Can't wait!  I have been playing the Penn State Fight Song in my car all week!  I CANNOT wait to go to that game!
