Daughters first day of last year of high school :)
Had a good morning finally. Kaylee's first day as a senior, got up early made her coffee, we chatted, took pictures of her new clothes for first day. Realized I'm so blessed..having my daughter with me being so supportive when she has suffered so much loss this year..her mom splitting, her grandma and pooch passing away...she texted me telling me she's bring me a subway sandwich a few minutes ago. I really think this is the beginning of a turn for the better. Not sure how I would've gotten through without her, she has really been amazing. I'm not missing out on this last high school year. It's sad yes that her mom left but I have to be there for Kaylee now more than ever. Please let me stay focused :)
I'm really proud of her.

She sounds like a great kid. You have the prom, graduation and so many other fun things to look forward to in the coming months. Enjoy this time Coop.
This makes me smile so much and I am so happy for you. You sound like a wonderful Dad with a daughter who appreciates you! There is no greater joy, believe me I know. My daughter\'s high school years (and I was a single mom miles from my ex) were some of the best ever. Enjoy!
Yea, your little girl is growing up, thanks to you. Way to be there for her, it\'s very important at this stage of the game for us to buck up and be strong for our kids. We can have our pity parties and vent here when needed. Its a great time of life for both of you. Way to go DAD!!!!!
Thanks Missy and Amy :)
It\'s so nice to have a good day. We were just chatting about her first day and her humanities class and current events, things are looking up. Gonna enjoy this year, get her in that cap and gown :)
Thanks again
Thanks you go spam :)
Feel good today. I know good and bad are still ahead but I\'m choosing to enjoy today. One day at a time and I\'ll make it :)
Coop you are such a great dad. Continue to feel blessed for your daughter , because that is unconditional love. Nothing breaks that . :)
And as we all know life happens to everyone and for her to know she has a great dad that will always be there for her , priceless.
