Daughter newly diagnosed
Two weeks ago my 15 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with a large prolactinoma, we will be starting her on Cabergoline next week once she has an Echo done at the cardiologist. I'm concerned with this medication after reading all the side effects It's rough enough for her to get thru her school day with the headaches she suffers now, just venting

wow, very similar to our experience. My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with a prolactinoma on the day we moved to CT (August 2009). It was also caught at a well child check. She is taking Cabergoline and not experiencing any obvious side effects. Unfortunately, she also got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just a couple weeks later but is doing a great job managing both conditions. Hope your daughter is doing well.
