Darn it anyway.........
Okay - my mission today is to work on me. T-Man sneaked out of the house sometime last night -- I refuse to get worked up about it. I will, obviously deal with it when he wakes, but I am not going to let it get the best of me. And.....now that I can't play soccer because of my stupid "injury".....I am going to focus more on my prayers. Because my leg really hurts (I think it's shin splints) walking through the parking lot, into the church, and through the church etc. - I decided that today might not be a good idea to attend today. So I am going to do some extra praying instead. Just received my contract to teach two sessions of three separate art classes. That is going to keep my busy. Believe it or not, I'm stressed about that challenge. Since this is an art studio - I am expected to teach art instead of having the children do crafts. Unfortunately, the parents will expect to see a beautiful product every time. Art is more of a process (and is beautiful in it's own way) whereas crafts produce a more "refined" finished product. This should be interesting. I was just informed last week that I need to give them my supply list by Thursday. That means I have to come up with 18 ideas times 2. Practically speaking I will have to keep them rather simple because of the age range (3 -5) yet have enough for them to do to keep them busy for an hour and a half. I am excited about it but apprehensive. At least this will be a good distraction from not being able to exercise and from T-Man. In addition - I think a new auditing project will be happening soon at the consulting firm I worked at last year. Money has been tight, lately, with all of the other expenses. Even a $30 co-pay for a counselor would add up very quickly - something we just can't do right now. I can't justify it at this time.
