Dad is doing better

For all of you who have asked.....My Dad finished his radiation treatment for prostate cancer this week.  It was a fairly new treatment procedure.  It consisted of high doses of radiation over a 24 hour period.  He didnt want me to travel to Michigan to help him.  I respected his wishes, but it was so painful and anxious for me.  He had adverse reactions to the sedatives they had to give him and that extended his stay in the hospital.  Then after two days of being home he returned to the ER for a few hours.  He is well now, but what a roller coaster not only for him, but me too.
