With cancer we have a lot of data by type, treatment, age, etc so the oncologist can quote"73" or whatever the known survival rate is. but brain tissue & circulation are more chaotic so this adds an element of uncertainty.



 





So his awesome performance is the inverse of the catastrophic decline that is also possible. Surprise is not the word, but shocking.

generally the longer you survive the better the odds, but in this case the increase is only marginal and cannot be quoted with any precision because of chaos.

I'm wondering about him falling/climbing out of the bed again. How does the hosp. propose to keep that from happening again? Still with the tethers?

Was approved to move to step down.

More right arm response today. we tried standing up but he didn't help quite enough. right leg doing more.. he reached the top of the bed with his left & kicked w left leg & hiked himself up in the bed. all gross motor functions are measurably better today & he is mouthing words. he do niff a bit as well..
