Dad Dreams. Theme - Bittersweet

I dreamt that the whole family was all hanging out somewhere and Cory was talking about going to see Friday the 13th and was telling Grandpa he should go see it with them.  At first Dad responded like how Mom would - what?! What kind of movie is that?  I am never going to see anything like that.  Then he turned into himself and said MAAAARRREEEEE in that perfect goat imitation he used to do of her nickname. I dreamt that I was down the street from Mom and Dad's house and he was home alone and was to call me if something happened.  It was like I was at Ashley's but Ang's new house and it was down past Lakeside.  I got a call from Dad and he kinda keeled over it sounded on the phone so I said I would be right there, rushed to put my shoes, grabbed my purse and keys and left.  For some reason, getting to the house was unbearable, there were big trucks in my way and I was going down upper Gore away from Dad and the house instead of toward it.  I wasn't sure how bad he was, but I called 911 just in case because I felt like they may possibly get there before I did.  As I was speeding around the obstacles, I woke up. I dreamt that we were all out on a boat and he was dying so then we let his body slip into the water like he was being buried and then it turned into a coffin as it sunk down as we were saying goodbye. The most amazing dream of all:I was at convention or something, but it wasn't our regular one at Milford, it was mixed with the Seneca one from Chicago and was unrecognizeable.  There was a weird part about Rachel in the beginning of the dream, then i left the dining/bathroom tent to go out into the most beautiful sunlight. I walked up a grassy hill with picnic tables to the right to go around the dining tent and as I was ascending the hill, dad came around the corner.  I think him and mom were holding hands, I know she was next to him and I just ran toward him.  He was his healthy self with the belly he used to have and as I ran to him any people besides mom that were around or in the background disappeared and it got very still and quiet.  I hugged him so tightly and it was the most comforting feeling and there was pure silence and at that moment nothing else existed around the cloud of comfort from hugging him like he was really there.  Such peace, comfort, acceptance that I felt in the dream, that came out of it from recalling it being awake.
