Da Day Before Christmas...

It's the Day before Christmas,Oh what shall we do.It's snowin out side, the dogs barkin too........Dad's makin coffee,cause the old cofee pot blew.The kids on the couch puttin on his old shoes........Out side it so dreamy,The snow's floatin down.All is so beautiful,with  the Snow covered ground......Under the tree, the presents are wrapped.with ribbons and bows , and all kinds of Crapp......Yepp the day before Christmas,folks head off to work.Cause the people they work for ,darn greedy jerks.......Old Santa he's lucky ,he works one day a Year.No wonder he jolly,and so filled with cheer.......Those little elfs,that make all the toys.Way up on the north pole,so we don't here the noise.......So today is the day ,that I stop to think.Man I better get my butt busy... Yepp... there's Turkey to bake.and  dressin  to stuff... Oh  all  those pies... did I bake enuff...The tatoes are boilin.. there's onions to chop... I' can't take a break.... nope I must not stop.......Grabb some more eggnog... is that dang trukey thawin... toss a pie in the oven...while a carrot ya nawwin....hey the eggs boilin over... now my glasses are foggy..my head is a spinnin cause someone spiked the egg noggy........Now I know why my Mom was so happy....she was filled with the Spirits ,thanks to my old grandpappy.........Ya'll know I'm just funnin... just passin some time..but this all rings true to some memories of mine..Yepp it the Day before Christmas...
