Wow the  s l a a is coming up and I have no experience with recovery from that, though step 1 in Al Anon has helped a lot in learning how unmanageable my life has been from putting others first and trying to change them.
Had a lot of fun with T but I don't like the person I am being, needy and insecure and indecisive and obsessive, and even little bits of jealousy.
The relationship I am in is bringing up a lot of insecurity and obsession for me.  I am reminded my life is ok if I take the time to pursue it.  My focus is not on it - I am not pursuing work or change, but I am maintaining some routine involving health which is ok.

Good awareness. Are going to your first slaa meeting? I can def. relate to insecurity, jealousy, and obsession...having some of that come up with someone who is just a friend! I was curious what kind of issue you were referring to in your comment on my journal. Keep on truckin\' :)

I am quite aware I have slaa issues, and envy those who go to those meetings... but I have yet to - already attending other 12 step meetings daily, anyway it is a good idea for me though :)
