Docs
It's been a busy day. Called for an appointment with my doctor and was told she wasn't at the clinic anymore. No reason was given why she wasn't. So, I got any appointment for this afternoon with the doc who's taking her patients. All I needed was a flue shot and a prescription refill. This is the third doc I've had there since the start of this year. The first one disappeared just like this one. No reason given. Went in, and of course they weighed me. With all the idle time I've had, I really didn't want to know. But, it wasn't too bad. A lot less than I thought it would be.The new doc said he's get me some free samples to hold me over till the prescription came in the mail. Good thing I took the bottle that showed I had only a few left. They gave me a bag and when I got home there must be a dozen small bottles in there! With the new job, I don't know if I'll see him again. Just have to see what the medical plan at the job is. He's a nice guy. But, I've been wondering. Here I've had three different docs in one year. What has happened to having one doc for years? It seems something has changed. I had my last doc for a few years till I left him after this incident with MRSA that he fouled up and lost my trust in him. But even when I lived in other towns, I kept a doctor here and had been with him for years. Is this what it's coming to in the medical field? Spin the wheel and get a doc? Before I went to the doc, I went out to the cemetery where my parents and brother are buried. Put a wreath on their grave. It'd been years since I'd been able to do that. They deserve better. Just glad they're not around to see the failure I've become.

What rubbish you speak, Mike, and you are old enough to know better. What faliure? I see before me a kind, decent human being that is living life just like all the rest of us, and making the best of it! What we make of our lives is what makes us human! Welcome to the human race, lol. Lots of hugs and kisses from me to you.... xoxoxoxox Deb :o)
