Cycling with CP

I’m riding again...WooHoo! I’ve been riding seriously and consistently for the last three months.  Before this it was a spin here and there.  I’ve noticed several little things that let me know it’s helping. First off, I can splurge a little more on my diet because I burn it off quicker (Fun Fun...Right!). I have noticed when I climb my basement steps, my right ankle doesn’t roll like it did when I was out of shape. I have noticed when I’m walking a good distance (like through a parking lot or through a store) my stride is smoother...my balance is better. Granted, I have a whole new set of aches and pains and I think I’m going to have to go to the chiropractor more often, but I feel these are positive versus negative.
For those of you that read the discussion panel, this is a blurb from my discussion there.  Cycling is uber-important to me and I thought I would share my knowledge and promote such a "great way to get off our butts" exercise that's really therapeutic and easy on our joints.
