Cycles

Recently I was asked by a friend:   What is the matter of life and birth, of love and death, of dark and morning? The best answer I came up with?  Cycles.  But with my answer brought only more questions. Must such cycles of life define all of who we are? Are we greater than the boundaries of our own time and space? Can we make peace with and embrace the finite limits of all things? Can we learn to view our ever-changing world with endearment? Can we adhere to the blacks and whites of sanity or do we swim adrift in the endless greys?
