Cyberbike update

Well, the good news  is that my CyberBike for Wii arrived today!  Bad news is that I binged horribly over the weekend and am back up to 164 lbs and the heartburn is AWFUL!  It is a daily reminder I need to lose weight!  As soon as my weight went over into the obese column, it came back and got bad!  Mindless eating!  Emotional eating!  I have the blahs.  This rain is awful!  And the last few days it has been freezing and I had to actually turn the heat on!  supposed to warm up by the end of the week.  I am off next week from work and may go to Florida for a few days to visit my dad.  Fingers crossed! Paul is looking at flights.  David will go with me.  He would only miss 1 day of school I think.
OK.  On to CyberBike:
David put it together for me without the instructions.  It is a magnetic bike with a Wii game and hooks up to the Wii.  I did 15 minutes Fitness endurance run.  Rode around the village.  Eventually I guess I open up new routes to the mountains and caves and stuff.  I also played with the "story."  The town/world is all full of trash and you have to pick it up.  the first one I did, you had 40 seconds to ride around the town and  pick up all the trash.  I got a perfect score on  my first try.  I am now trying CyberMine.  You are in a mine on the tracks (like the wild mine ride) and you pedal and steer the bike to lean left or right or straight (to get the glow in the dark radiation capsules, or to switch tracks).  I love that one and boy is it hard!  the more you play, the more "stuff" you open (ie:  different colored bikes, different outfits, etc.)  It does register steps on my pedometer, but not as much as walking. So far, I love it!  I unplugged the bike and set it aside in my family room and will play some more tomorrow.
David got his 2nd degree black belt on Saturday!  He did a great job!  I am so proud of him!  Pinch me, but I have to say, things have been OK!!  I really think the mentor is helping.  Phew!
Went to my sister's boyfriend's 50th birthday party Saturday.  Had a nice time.  Ate way too much food!  My brother's 40th birthday party is this coming Sunday.
Remmy's brother, Blue, got adopted by a wonderful couple in New Jersey!  They renamed him Talon.  He is a beauty!  We were sharing photos of the dogs on Facebook.  Remmy is such a good boy.  He is sitting her playing with his bone tonight.  David and I trimmed Remmy and Kona's nails this weekend.  Ugh!  I hate doing that!  David was such a big help.  Again, pinching myself as we have had a couple of good weeks!
Work is ok.  I did have one woman yell at me and then called my manager and request her claim be transferred to another adjuster.  (she had a pipe break and left 10 bags of clothes sit and mold for a week and made no attempt to wash/dry them.  Now they are ruined and she wants thousands of dollars to buy new clothes.  I read the part of her policy to her about her obligation to mitigate her damage.  She said she did not have time.  I offered to have a service pick up the clothes and clean them.  She blew them off.  I explained I would deny that portion of her claim for failure to protect her property and mitigate her damage.  She then demanded another adjuster.  You know what?!  she squeaks to management and they will pay her!!!  And we wonder why are insurance premiums are so high!!!)  sorry, gotta get off my soap box.  I was a little more focused today.  Hopefully will do better tomorrow.

That is great about the bike. How exciting that you can be involved with so much \'activity\' without leaving the house - amazing!!!

I think as life continues to improve with David and you have the opportunity to enjoy more peace at home the eating will subside. I know in this crisis I\'m trying to survive I have eating issues. The only reason I\'m not blowing up with weight is I eat very simple home made bean/pea soup and lots of veggies so there is nothing to cause weight gain no matter how much I eat of these healthy foods.

I hope our lives continue to improve to allow for further healing.

Gentle ((hugs))
