The museum is great, especially for history geeks or people genuinely interested in the period around the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia. Small museum, well curated and with good English translations on the main exhibits . Friendly and helpful staff explained the way to view the museum best. I did this in one hour but would say comfortably 1-2 hours should cover you if you do like to read and consider each display.

There's also a combined ticket for all the museum attractions in Sopot which was very cheap especially for students. They offer guides, maps and books at the entrance since there are no explanatory signs inside and you would not know what was what.
This time in the Summer was incredibly hot. But I still really enjoyed it, incredible views, really worth visiting, great place to take pictures. Nice view from the church tower, when open. There is a place selling beer and water, really useful on a hot Summer day. It's a beautiful monument, with a very interesting history behind. I recommend a visit here, and a previous historical research.
