Curling up into a ball
I feel like curling up into the fetal position. Got yet ANOTHER voice mail from 1 of my son’s teachers (geometry), saying he hasn’t handed in any homework lately. Also, he hasn’t finished his tests & although the teacher gave him extra time to complete them, he hasn’t taken advantage of that & come back to complete them.
They’re doing all the recommendations that they’re supposed to, and it’s not working. Nothing is changing. I tried telling him last night that things have got to change. He thought so to, but didn’t know what I could do to help.
The only thing I can think is to call the Center & tell them that the plan isn’t working & what do we do? Is it supposed to be this helpless & hopeless? I certainly never got that impression. I remember that my only reservation about everything was: will my son cooperate? My worst fear is that my husband was right: that he is just a lazy do-nothing kid. Ugh….
Call the Center on Monday. I don’t know how much more of this I can take.
