Ct Scans with contrast

My gastroenterologist has ordered a chest, abdominal and pelvic CT scan with contrast. I'm allergic to contrast so I have to take prednisone and benadryl while taking the contrast. I have to mix the contrast with a liter of juice. I drink part of the juice/contrast solution the night before the ct scan. Then half of what I drank an hour before my ct scan and the rest half an hour before my ct scan. My CT scans are on Monday. I see the gastroenterologist on Tuesday. He said he took lots of biopsies but that it would take a couple of weeks to have those results back. I noticed the tubes for the blood tests said stat on them so he probably has those results already. I doubt he will have the ct scan results back when I see him. I'm trying not to worry because I don't know anything for sure. I don't know the size of the lesion. I've never had biopsies done before. I've never had a doctor around here move this quickly. I am glad he's moving quickly and that he's thorough.
