Crying before sleep

I found that if I acknowledge my fears before sleep and cry it out I can fall asleep a little bit faster rather than fighting the thoughts out of my head.

I know what you mean. when we start thinking at night at bed, things seems way worse than they really are. I used to cry before going to sleep, and that helped. I\'ve changed my strategy now, to something..err.. happier :) I usually talk to a good friend right before sleeping. Either that, or I read a book to quiet me down. If my mind if wandering too much, I also add some music. All this has helped me a lot! Especially talking with my friend (most of the times, we just chit-chat, so nothing deep at all). It makes me forget about everything else, and focus on the moment. So lately, I\'ve been falling asleep faster. I now need to keep working on the wake up part, but that one\'s difficult!
