Crying
It's been a tought year with this Corona. It gives me more time to just sit at home and think about Penny. I try to stay busy but the Governor has it so you can't go anywhere and have to be home befor 10pm! Too much time on my hands and all I do is cry. I try not to but it just comes out. Does anyone had any suggestions on how to get through this? I know your ALL in the same boat I'm in, we All lost our children or we wouldn't be on this site. Hope your days are going better than mine. If you're still working that's good. But I retired 5 years ago and I can't wear a mask all day I can't breath well. When this mess is all over I think I'll get a partime job that should help. Sorry I'm just rambuling on. I want to say I Love You Penny and Miss you dearly. I hope ALL of you reading this has a Better New Year than 2020. God Bless You All

Hello sweet friend. Thank you for sharing.
It was definitely a tough year!!! Staying home, away from family and friends, even from "mean" bosses and co-workers, has taken a toll on so many people. For me, it's the being told what I can and cannot do that drives me nuts. I mean, I understand being careful, but I think some of these orders have gone WAY overboard.
I think of your sweet Penny and I smile. She was such a LIGHT to everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing her. She's been a LIGHT to me many times as well. Each time you'd share a story and a picture, I'd shed a tear as I smiled at her gentle, beautiful face. I think of the picture of her all dressed up. I think maybe it was for prom or homecoming or some special event at school. She beamed with joy and excitement. Such a tiny little thing with a HUGE heart.
Tightest of heart hugs as we enter into this new year hand in hand.

FYI....just in case you're interested, I started a group here called Life Stories. I'll send you an invitation and you can check it out and if you're interested you are more than welcome to join us. It's not a grief group, but all of the member are FMO moms.

Hi Pennys mom,
This year has truly sucked big time! I miss “normal” be that as it may be.
I too am retired with too much time on my hands. I crochet and read but I get bored easily and lose interest quickly. This group is a godsend to me. An awesome group of more than supportive and caring ladies.
Hang in there mama. You are never in this alone. If you want or need to talk, vent, or laugh...message me. I always have time to listen.

Dear PennysMom,
It has been such a hard, painful year in so many way. We humans were not born to be so isolated. The pandemic and shelter-in-place orders (we're under one, too, in California) have given us/me way too much free time to think about and miss my son, Jimmy. I don't have any brilliant suggestions or ideas to offer, just what has helped me which is reaching out to the people I love most more frequently. On Facebook or via text or email. Scheduling more FaceTime calls. Small ways to remind me that the comfort and distraction of friends and family is still there, even if we can't get together in person.
Big hug to you
Hello PennysMom........ just hello,,,, just,,, love you
