I thought I would type this in as my diary is a little erratic these days and I wanted to be able to look back on this week with a smile:)

Last week I sprained my foot:( OH my goodness.. the pain was out of this world... like the normal pain i get when I fall except this didn't stop.. felt like vomitting, went all hot... then ended up at the hospital and 3 hrs later had crutches! Now... how was it all going to work? I am a single mum with a 7 year old! My biggest hurdle was not being able to drive.. but I said to my beautiful daughter who at this stage was starting to freak out as to how many nights we would be eating eggs in the microwave( all she can cook)... I said "we will get through this, where there is a will there is a way.. many people live in a wheelchair and survive.." and it is now day 9 and i am just starting to hobble without the crutches and feeling heaps better and I said...."we made it" she said, "if we can get through that we can get through anything!!!" what an amazing lesson for us both. I no longer fear the wheelchair I was told that i was meant to have 7 years ago and I know longer fear anything about my health. Whatever happens will happen and I will just deal with it as I have learnt to deal with everything so far.
But a huge thank you and gratitude must go to my wonderful friends and family for helping us through... i struggled less with asking for help.. another great lesson:)
Looking forward to having my "funny feet" back with gratitude that I am still walking!
