Crocodile Tears VI

In my head, my daughter-in-law still calls me, "Monster-in-law." She still swears that she met my son first, even though the HS buddy who introduced us was at the funeral to confirm. "She just forgot," declared the young woman whose pregnancy I shared with her mother. Thank you, my life-niece. The timid adolescant I knew c.2k is far and away easier to digest than the roaring monolith whose rage was coached in rumbling tones I couldnae hear well. I may have to go e-hunting for the email exchanges we shared while I was studying at La UDA and she was forming her first attempts at college.

As I make my attempts at learning Warren's song, it is that timid adolescant whose face is forming in the gossamer lights.

Can I keep her in my heart for a while? ? ?

For what it's worth, I kinda like my rewrite of Allen Toussaint's classic, "Mother-in-Law." In the puppet shows in my head, "Monster-in-law" is a job-title this beaten crazy bitch wolf can work with.

It's hard sometimes to be the movie screen upon which others project their own cinematic scenarios sometimes, isn't it, arf? I know. I've had some epic blockbusters projected on me from time to time as well. Sounds like you're taking it in stride.... Much support your way again today.

While the projectors are telling me my life, I donae see *their* imaginary cinematic screens. I thank all who helped me find ways to recognize the phenom for inside my own over-active and recognize my cinematic agonies for the psychotic delusions they are. We are only mental patients doodling on construction paper with non-toxic crayons. Been there. Done that. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.

The scorching chaos surrounding my daughter-in-law's cruelty seems to be easing considerable for the shift in focus from the regurgitation of social media chick rhetoric to the stray kid with dreams and aspirations. She and my life niece had some impressive dance moves as they marathoned on adolescent chick flicks, too. It took my life niece going in to full bully mode to get her to keep dancing when I came in the room. "She's a good audience," my niece encouraged her painfully timid friend. "She don't bite."

I mostly watched from around the corner. Mistrust of adults, especially young-at-heart adults was/is a tragically common quality among my stray kids.

My only point was that good lawyering often 'wins cases' and that's what this will be to them.... a case to win

I hear you re how emotional this is to you but for them it will be about how to word questions and get the responses that they want etc..... They know how to do this and they know how to push people's buttons... bait them

I know that you have to decide what's right for you.... I am just concerned..... Another hug and a blessing

If my husband decides to ride that pony, I won't fight him on it. I'll cross that bridge *IF* he comes to it. If I can.

For now, *I* simply can't *go there*. It keeps slipping into the yaddahs of the blahs that earned me my cPTSD dx. Was I the first PTSD Barbie on the toy shelves? I've heard not all the Barbies are blonde these days. . . My involuntary weight loss problems have given me the figure for the job.

Hugs and blessings both needed and appreciated.
