creeps.....

one of the negative things about working at jewel is the fact that there's creeps there...when i worked there before-years ago-i was a cashier and early sunday morning a man came in and i smiled and checked out his few items and he smiled and said to me, "i'm a smile collector and i'd love to collect your smile....can i??" i laughed nervously and said yes....he told me i needed to smile again and then hold it, so did and he looked at my face for a few seconds....whatever.....well last night i was bagging and this man was there and he had a lot of groceries....i said, "would you like any help out today??" he replied," only if you'll come home with me and stay with me.." i then laughed and then said that i couldn't....i made a joke about it....that's the best way to fend off creeps....i told my friend and she freaked out and told me that i needed to tell my manager.....see, i've had my fair share of creeps over the years....i know how to fend them off, i know how to handle them, i know when to tell someone....like if he had touched me, even just touched my arm, i would've said, "back off!!!" and talked to my manager....but just talking to me?? there's nothing that they could do.....to be quite honest he didn't freak me out.....pushing carts in the dead of night with barely any light from the lamps freaks me out MORE than the creeps who check out
