Creating Knowledge and Information - Establishing Important Attributes

Remember the heroes in Winnie the Pooh, all with different personalities and means of thinking and acting? Benjamin Hoff makes a fascinating statement about these heroes in the guide, The Tao of Pooh:

"While Rabbit's little schedule is that of Knowledge for the benefit of Being Clever, and while Owl's is that of Knowledge for the benefit of Appearing Sensible, Eeyore's is Knowledge for the benefit of Worrying About Something. As anyone who doesn't have it could see, the Eeyore Attitude gets in the manner of things like wisdom and pleasure, and virtually prevents any sort of real Success in life."

As the heroes in Winnie the Pooh are chasing knowledge talks wisdom listens some type of Knowledge that does not necessarily link to wisdom. Being a word person, or "wordie," I wonder what really correlates to wisdom? So how exactly does the endless pattern of obtaining understanding stop this wisdom? If not found in understanding, where's wisdom discovered?

In a recently available teleseminar, Eiji Morishta proclaimed, "Knowledge turns understanding into wisdom." Aha! Sure! Positively! Knowledge is frequently found in our mistakes. Knowledge is frequently found in our failures. Knowledge turns up as activity and the capability to understand the correct activity (or inaction).

Some of my instruction customers express anxiety around lacking a sophisticated level, and many have a fantastic number of experience. I question them, "Do you want an employee, employer or teammate who is full of understanding and data however does not possess the wisdom to create judgments and choices that last or the corporation?" Knowledge can take you right back as you rely on books and teaching. We truly need wisdom to locate new options and use the research to change, specially in this economy.

How are a number of my thoughts on how I consider Knowledge and Knowledge as Phrases that Work:

  • Knowledge, while excellent to own, is somewhat worthless till behaved on

  • Action results in wisdom

  • Knowledge can very quickly remain dormant or sleeping in mental performance

  • Knowledge is alive within the body

  • Knowledge obtained from decades in old-fashioned forms of training, frequently paying lots of money that'll not have a high rate of return

  • Knowledge obtained from decades only being, yes, frequently at high cost, with a priceless rate of return

  • Knowledge might require steps to recall

  • Knowledge is instant recall

  • Knowledge is intellectual

  • Knowledge is emotional and spiritual

  • Knowledge changes around time in books and training

  • Knowledge is classic, it utilizes experience

  • Knowledge is frequently very confident, cocky

  • Knowledge is calm, calm, unwavering

  • Knowledge is extortionate talking and rigid

  • Knowledge is listening, absorbing, and variable

  • Knowledge is limited

  • Knowledge is unrestricted

Additionally, Knowledge weighs significantly more than Knowledge and could be a burden. Knowledge is lighter. Knowledge is light.
