Crawling out of this valley
This my first attempt at trying to journal. Most importantly I need to express my gratitude to all of you who sent hugs, messageD or just friended me. I have not had a lot of time to grieve or even toss this around yet. i have a child with severe behavioral issues and it has been a nightmare just dealing with her reactions to this tragedy. My 17 month old grandson spend several days and nights here during the week as well. It was his Dad that passed and I am trying to give as much normalcy as possible when he's here.
We are currently looking for a residential school for our daughter to help her learn to function in a world that is so hard for her to navigate. She is excited to open this new chapter. When it is arranged, then I can take a breath and remember my son and the joys he brought us all.

Hi. I am so sorry. I hope you are able to find a school for your daughter. I can\'t even imagine what you are dealing with. What a lot of stress in your life.
I wish I could be there to give you a huge hug.
Love, Marlene (Lisa\'s mom)
you have your hands full with so much.. I am so sorry about your son,,, my daughter also completed suicide... peace to your heart,,, Nora
I don\'t know you or your daughter but have worked in schools where children had behavior problems. It is exhausting trying to do daily tasks and watch or hold them every minute to keep them from destroying things, doing harm to other people or to themselves. I applaud you for doing what you need to take the time to take care of YOU!
Gentle hugs,
Leda
You are in my thoughts & prayers dear friend. Life can be very overwhelming at times & you are doing the best you can. As I read your journal I thought about what a loving caring mom & grandmother you are to care so much for your loved ones. I\'m sure you are a blessing to them. Hoping your search for a residential school to meet your daughter\'s need are successful.
As you take such loving care of your family save some of that gentle care for yourself as well. You deserve good things for all the good you do.
Caring hugs.....Vicki
I am so glad that you have journaled. In the midst of all that you are dealing with it is so good that you do something for yourself. To unload a bit of the heartache and struggles. So, come here and dump...you cannot shock us with what you feel. It is okay...we understand. Take gentle care new friend...Karen
Sending you vibes of healing as you journey this path. Hoping some help comes your way for your daughter. I understand. Hugs. Kathy
Understanding the overwhelming feelings you must be having with all that you are facing.
I am hopeful and prayerful that you will find a school that suits your daughter\'s needs and also brings you some peace in knowing that she is in the best of hands.
The love and connection with your grandson will be one of your most powerful healers, I suspect. Children are little powerhouses of abundant healing so thank goodness you have him in your life.
Just this moment, just this day and hopefully with a pause or two in the midst for you to know that you are not alone and can come here at anytime to feel understood and supported.
Loving care your way,
XO Joanie
Thank you for sharing. It takes courage to do so, but it helps SO much.
Please feel all the love we are sending.
You are in my thoughts and prayers~~Teri
