Crashed... Not Surprised
Today I was totally cratered... I am still in my pjs. But I was not surprised and I needed the rest. I did teach 4 classes this morning. And then I went back to bed and napped. I ate in bed, ordered pizza, watch an old 1956 SyFy movie, messed around on FB... and took another afternoon nap.
It was good to just have no expectations of myself today. I will be up and going tomorrow.
My husband told me that he might start working every other Saturday. That means he will earn more money. That means I have to drop more students and teach less classes or we lose our insurance. I immediately started crying when he told me this news.... He told me i was not going to have to drop my classes... and I responded...
I WILL NOT GIVE UP ANY MORE OF MYSELF... I CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE LOSS. It is bc of HIS job that I can barely work....
ugh.
But I immediately worked on some numbers... crunched where we are w/ salary right now and we are okay. But I was frustrated. I do not want to pay the $15 Thousand dollar penalty fee at the end of the year bc we made too much money. That's what happened last year. and I was the one that paid it.
I was immediately triggered, sad , and upset. But I will get past it. I always work thru it.

Hi! Bed, nap & pizza, all some of my favorite things. And the SyFy movie sounds interesting. I don't doubt that you and your dear husband will figure through it all. I am my own financial planner, so I understand what it means to crunch here and there. I sense that you are in a secure position. Women are better at managing money than most men. So true, that it all works thru, and I hope that the sadness passes soon. <3
Glad you got to rest a but and take a nap and watch a movie, our bodies need rest now and then.
I'm sure things will work out for you.
Why would you have to pay a fine for making too much money?? I don;t understand that!
i know with being on SSD that I can only make so much before I loose my checks and ins benefits. Is it something similar?
