Crap Happens! Even to me...

Well I thought I would let you know what happened yesterday.... I was asked by my daughter to pickup and deliver to "her house" a lawn tractor.... a small 32" cut Simplicity unit. OK , said I (dumb ass)  and don't forget the ramps!!...THE RAMPS!!! I loaned them out...I called my friend...HE LOANED THEM OUT*THEY ARE ON VACATION...NO RAMPS!! ok, I'll take two 2 x 8's pressure treated 10 footers. They'll do the job (and they did, no problem). Got it in my truck and I noticed there are no deck wheel son it..."Oh yeah, the wify knocked them off, I didn't replace them...it still works!"  Dad, Can you fix it... yeah , and it needs an oil change, gas filter, brake lever unbent, drive belt replaced, gear shift Gear adjusted, and so on... So I wrestle it into the bed (wont start) and set up the tail gate to close but 1st the strap around the front of the tractor and out the back of the truck...slam (the tail gate)now I hook up the strap and PULL and SNAP!!! 1st the strap then MY BACK!!!  The drive home wasn't too bad, I mad supper, a little sore...got my evening diabetic pills, MORE SORE,  really started to hurt just before 6pm and started on the pain pills. by the time the wife got homw I could not walk straight, hols a cup or talk I had so much pain med in me .I COULD NOT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I TOOK... BUT I DO KNOW ABOUT THE TRACTOR...    .IT IS NOW IN MY GARAGE!   LMAO
