CPK Experiment

So the stubborn part of getting better has been the CPKs hovering between 3000 and 4000. The Rheumy and the Neuro were desperately trying to get me approved for Retuxin or Ivig.. Meanwhile, I had  a perscription for diuretics. I asked the docs, since my symptoms were improving, why not try the diuretics, and Ill drink 70 oz. of Gateraid 5 Days before the blood panels to see if I could pee the CPKs out. "Oh no. That won't work!" both of them cried. So I did it anyway and my CPKs dropped by 2,000. I waited a month and did the diuretics again 5 days before the blood test again and my CPKs dropped another 700. Both Docs called it a "miracle", but I have appointments with both next week where I will make a full confession. Well, It was a whole lot cheaper than Ivig or Retuxin!
