CP acting up = hospital?

The past week has been pure hell with my CP. And it's dragging my liver down with it. Add in a kidney stone acting up and I'm miserable. I see my GP tomorrow and I have a strong feeling that if I tell the truth, she'll want me to get admitted.
I hate being in the hospital. I have no computer or fancy phone to contact the outside world and have only my husband to visit, so I get cut off. And then get even more inward bound.
I'm scared this may be a bad attack. If so, I'll be transported up to Beth Isreal and have the most dreaded PICC line put in for 3-6 months of TPN.
Beside my own irrational fear, I'm terrified I won't be there for my sister. She started chemo this Mon and has a bad reaction last pm. I'm supposed to be there for her next treatment (nov 6-20) and help her out. But what if I'm too sick? I just CAN"T let her down!! I can't.
But I may not have a choice. CP sucks! Ugh.

Oh no Robbin I am so sorry. If you get admitted ask your doctor for a mediport...they are GREAT. you do have to go once a mont to get it flushed if you don\'t use it, but that is the only down side. I use mine all the time so it is no problem to get it flushed. They put you out when the put it in and there is no care on my end. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon. Sounds like you over stressed your body when you were down in Florida with your sister and it really took it\'s toll on you.
If we were closer I would bring over my ipad so you could use it. I have a old iphone 3 you are more than welcome to have it. I can send it to you tomorrow. The grandkids just play games on it. So it is yours...

Nib, hate to hear you are feeling so bad. I hope it passes. I will be praying for better health for you and your sis. I hope she will improve from the chemo. Hang in there and keep on keeping the FAITH. Love ya.

Well, Nibbs, this news just really sucks. Today is Friday and you\'re either in the hospital as you projected, or still at home. Whichever it is, please use the time to rest up & recharge your batteries. You say your sister is all alone. Would it be possible for her to move in with you & your husband?
