count down
T goes to court on Wed, the 22nd. Today he's a bit moody because it's beautiful outside and being on house arrest is really getting to him. He may be 17 but he behaves years younger in so many ways. The inactivity (before house arrest used to go to our local park to play football or basketball) has been bad for his frame of mind. All he wants to do is watch TV and play video games. It got to the point when I finally hid the controls so that he couldn't play for awhile. He found them while I was gone and was playing the games when I got back. Hubby told me he found them but did nothing about it, as usual. So he leaves the house and leaves me having to get him to stop playing. Frustrating. So now he's moody and it's my fault. I haven't heard a swear word from him in awhile. I was trying to get him to work on a project (design a logo) for a friend of ours who is starting up a new medical business. This friend is in recovery (used to be an emergency room dr) and thought that T might be interested since he's so talented and creative. T has no interest because I won't let him play video games. I hope he said that out of anger. I also hope that we can purchase a new computer (like today) so that he would have a great graphic program to work with. Maybe that would be a good incentive. Wish I would have thought of that before because T has some homework to do but isn't motivated to do it.
