Coronation Postponed

Well, the pain in my tooth has not gone away. Hasn't gotten better or worse, but I'm constantly taking Advil to stave it off. So the dentist does not want to put the permanent crown on if it turns out that he'd have to end up doing a root canal (which would necessitate him drilling through the crown, which is not recommended). So we are going to wait no longer than 2 months to see if it gets better or worse. If better: crown; if worse, root canal then crown.
So I'm sad about this. I almost wanted to cry in the dentist office! But I held back. I'm just tired of the pain. And I worry: what if it just "stays the same"--then what? I guess I'll just have to pray for a definitive answer.
In other news, one of the tires on my car is "shredding", my husband says (it was getting a little flat over the weekend). He noticed it this morning, so I got to drive the new car in to work. I think he'll be changing the tire, but we do need all-new tires on my car, so that will be sooner rather than later.
