Coritcosteriods Shot

Hi.

I have been sick and going through nightmares with my health. Does anyone does well with coritcosteriods shots? Does it make you lose your hearing? What about balance? Please advice. Doctor wants to do the shots on ,me. He said at this time I cannot do surgery. Please advice.
