Controlling the bad thoughts
I had the most amazing weekend with my husband but now it's Tuesday and he has had an awful night at work. This carries over into morning and affects my mood. I feel that I'm not being supportive enough. Between him feeling bad about he's treated me over the years. He is having really terrible dreams I had an emotional affair last year for four months because I was feeling ignored and unappreciated in my marriage. When he found out and the way he found out it blew his world apart. We've been back together for a month now but he still has the nightmares. I feel so low for what I did. My husband is now a completely changed man because of it. But it is killing him. We just found out he has A-Fib. On top of that trying to deal with my depression and anxiety doesn't help. Then I really think he is falling into a deep depression himself and he doesn't want to go see anyone. We are in couples therapy. Thank God. I'm just so torn inside because I really don't know how to help him. I really need some advice. I'm trying to find work so that I can help with the bills. It's just hard for me to keep a job because of the depression. I'm in the process of applying for disability but I haven't heard anything. So I really can't depend on that. We need money now. I really feel like if I could bring some money in and take that stress off him that would help a great deal. I don't even care what it does to me. My mental health doesn't matter. I hate seeing my husband so broken.
