Contractions are Here...my familiar friends
I guess I am more comfortable with contractions than with the disabling cramps. This is what I usually do in pregnancy. It is nerve wracking...painful...endless...and I always have to use prayer and "instincts" to figure out when these contractions are actually making cervical changes...because that requires one of the fun hospital stays with nasty meds to stop the labor.
From past experience, it never fails when I go to the hospital to have a cervical check that they hook me up to the contraction monitors and FREAK OUT and act like I should be shocked that I am contracting every 3 minutes. Uh...no surprise to me...it is MY uterus and stomach that has been doing it, right?!?
Anyway, I guess I'm already moving into familiar territory. The bummer is that all the weeks of contractions make my tummy muscles ache, like I've done a million crunches...so where are my rock hard abs?!?!? LOL UNFAIR!

Hi. I\'ve been wondering how you\'re doing. I can\'t imagine how exhausted you must be from the contractions and cramps. You are so strong. I had 4 days of early labor contractions with my son and I couldn\'t sleep through the pain so I was exhausted by the time I made it to \"real labor\". Hah. I cannot imagine what you are enduring. You are like the marathon runner of pregnancy contractions. So unfair! But you are amazing! And our God is amazing, He will stay close by your side through this. Just know you are never alone. I am thinking about you every day and feel so humbled when I read how positive you are being on bedrest. My son has been sick on and off all March and now April and I get cabin fever not being able to go out of the house, let alone bed! I find so much encouragement in your strength of heart. I only wish I could somehow encourage you as you lay there. Just know I\'m rooting for you and Baby!!
I \'m so sorry your having such a hard time, I\'ll keep you in my prayers!
Wow you really are a string mom to deal with all you do in your pregnancies. And to keep doing it, that really says what kind of mom you are already sacrificing so much for your babies. I don\'t know how you stay so positive! Maybe all that poitive energy is what makes everything ok in the end. Me on the otherhand I tend to be negative whenever it comes to myeslf, which I try hard not to be. I always expect the worst! Hang in there eventually it will all be over and so worth it!!!
Oh man, I\'m so sorry. I\'ll say another prayer for you.
Aww girl! I hope they can get the contractions to stop! Hang in there. Praying for you!
I\'m praying that your contractions will stop.
Hugs, Love & Rainbows!!!

This must be so scary for you! Keeping you in thoughts and prayers for this pregnancy. Maybe you WILL have rock hard abs after the baby comes.
It\'s good u can maintain a sense of humour thru all of this. Hats off to u. I hope this all ends for you in a good way.
Glad you are able to joke about all this. Humor can get us through the toughest times. Sending you lots of sticky baby glue!
Thank you ladies for your prayers! I know it seems odd, but I DO prefer the contractions to cramping...maybe because I did them for months & months & still got babies to bring home before? But also because they are predictable...and have a RISE and FALL to the pain. Nice to have a couple minutes of a breather between them.
My migraines have been through the roof every day, but they remind me that I\'m alive...HA HA!! I used to get a little bit of a break, before I had to do the progesterone shots every day. They would ease up right before another shot...oh well. It is worth it if the progesterone is helping little Logan or Lily stay cozy in there!! :-)
PRAISE GOD for the doppler!!! I would be institutionalized by now, if not for that little thing! LOL
I just can\'t imagine life without our little monkey!! This baby needs to make it strong & healthy!! June 30 is \"viability\" and it feels like 2 yrs away!! They have me scheduled for an MRI & sigmoidoscopy right after that. Ugh to the latter. LOL
Will keep you in my prayers for your continued amazing strength.
It\'s gotta be the high level of progesterone you have to be on that\'s giving you the headaches. But like you said, it\'ll be worth it when you bring that little one home! June 30 is not that far away. Maybe I\'m just saying that because I will have turned 30 before then! LOL You\'ll make it!
