Continued....
I went to see my friend, Peggy today on the way home from church. She had Chance, Bud's father. When Bud was seduced by my neighbor's pedigree shi-zu she had two puppies. Actually she had three but one died.
Anyway, Bud was on his lead in the front yard with his choke collar on. The reason I say he was seduced was because she came into our yard and presented to Bud. How could the little guy resist. Well, they were stilled tied, stuck togethr in the mating when she decided she was done and started to walk away. I'm glad I was home. Because she continued to walk until Bud was choking to death. I had to go out and move them six feet back until the mating was finished. haha
Anyway, Peggy got one of the puppies and named her Angel. I took the bou puppy and named him Gabriel. I told Peggy about Bud. Gabe and Angel are both 16 years old. Angel is not in as good health as Gabe. I asked her if when the time came could I bury Gabe next to her. She lives out in the country and has a place picked out for them already.
So when it comes I have a plan. Peggy is grieving almost as much as me. Chance died three or four years ago. But he had gone to live with her aunt. I feel better now that Bud has been put to rest and I have shared the news with his family. Gabe is grieving really badly. Tomorrow I will start taking him for a walk in the mornings while it is still cool. I think that will be good for both of us.
