Contentment

I'm surprised!   I still go through the usual rollercoaster of emotions, but this week, the feeling of contentment has arrived and it's becoming more and more a stable emotion while the others are slowly beginning to fade!

It could be because I'm working out outside which kicks out my Seasonal Affective Disorder, it could be just the fact that I'm eating better and exercising more, or it could be because I'm finally getting my home (or is it myself) in order.   But either way, it feels SO GOOD!

I'm petsitting for a boxer that has separation anxiety.   She's staying with me for a MONTH while her family goes to Hawaii (yes, I'm envious, lol).   I'm having to do a crash course of getting her used to being indoors while I'm at work - it's interesting to say the least, lol.   First hour of her visit, she threw up all over the only carpet in the house - now I have spots of clean with stains in the middle.   Nice.   But, as SOON as my money starts coming in (any day now!) I'm hiring the handyman to get it all torn out and the laminate put in.   So I can deal with it for now.   And, Miz Zoe (the boxer) has been learning quick - started with 10 minutes yesterday, got up to 1 1/2 hours before she climbed the countertops.  Then I took her to the dog park to play for an hour and then she made it 2 1/2 hours without a single incident!   Two accidents on the floor last night (she didn't know how to let me know she needed to go out) and we've gotten that under control now too.   Today, we're going to try for 3 hours and then she should be set for the 4 hours I'm going to be gone tomorrow for work!  And the extra cash I got for this is what I needed to cover my taxes!

And my Transformation challenge is coming along nicely as well - even with the occasional blizzard, lol (but I'm dropping those this week - switching to fun size Baby Ruth's so I can see even more of a weight loss impact!)

Well, that's all I've got for today - sun just rose and I've got some gardening projects I want to get started with today, and then finishing up my basement (lookin' good!).  Can't wait to get it all finished so I start CREATING (crafts such as quilts, painting, refinishing....)

LATER!

My daughter had a dog with separation anxiety. She chewed up some expensive windows and door frames before she decided she had a family.

I eat the fun size snickers. Just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth and not mess up my diet.
