Conscious Creation
Exercise In Conscious Creation
Choose something that you do every day, that you are convinced that it is so utterly ordinary that it certainly does not hold any power or spiritual meaning whatsoever.
It could be something as simple as having a glass of water, or brushing your teeth or yawning.
Pick something that you know you do every day and decide to make that the focus of your worship. So that when you do it, you stop and say "It is very good." Even if it is something as simple as raising your head from the pillow." Become aware of it, own it as self-created, and as you contemplate that action, say to yourself "I have done this, and it is good. I have created."
Again, those that are truly committed will find that they begin to enjoy the process and they begin to apply it more and more to other events in their lives. They begin to reawaken the childlike joy of building a castle in the sandbox. For in truth, that is all you are doing here. Consciousness is your sandbox and you are creating castles. You have simply forgotten to enjoy them.
I have been doing this for a month or so... e'thing I do, I am trying to remember to say "It is very good, I have done this and it is good.
I started with what he said, brushing me teeth, raising my head; now I am very conscious of this statement and catch myself saying it all the time: opening my car door, cleaning, seeing, smelling, touching, going to the restroom, swallowing, hugging, laughing, hearing, breathing, etc.
I really feel this is a major shift for me. I am loving my sandbox and creating my castles.

Hi Vicki,
This is an interesting exercise. :-) Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Shar
I have been doing it a lot! I find am saying it when I am typing, driving, shopping, cooking, taking me shower, laughing, sharing with friends etc. I think what it is doing for me, is changing consciousness. It makes me be grateful and helps me stay out of negative thinking, and stay in the NOW. I\'m going to post the next paragraph of it; I read it this a.m. and really liked it.
Hugszzzz, Vicki
