Congratulations on your pregnancy, but I need to shoot up now.

I just received a text message from my good friend telling me that "Whoo Hoo!", she's pregnant.  That's great news, really.  I mean they did try for 2 months.  Last weekend, I found out that another friend is also pregnant.  She actually didn't have the guts to tell me.  We were sitting at a wedding reception when the bride's mom came up to tell them congrats.  Awkward silence.  I was suspicious, but the words cut through me like a knife.  I understand her feeling uncomfortable telling us. (They're on their second child while we've been struggling with IF.  Actually, I know 3 people who are on their second since we've been trying.)  But really?  It sucked to hear it from someone else.  It's not like she found out yesterday.

All the while, I took my first shot of Follistim this morning.  (Whoo Hoo!)  My husband had football conditioning (coach, not player) this morning, so I had to get up at 5:15 for him to give me my shot.  I finally slept a little last night though.  Lupron not only gave me headaches, but MAJOR insomnia!  When I went in on Wednesday for my baseline ultrasound/bloodwork, everything looked great.  So we'll just keep on moving down our path to a family.  I think I can, I think I can.
