Confused on What to do....

MY doctor wants to take out my fallopian tubes. They are both damaged and Mike has a very low sperm count, so why not just do it?
Does it make me less of a person? I am removing any chance of having a baby naturally, even though I know my chances of becoming pregnant on my own are less than 1%. What do I do? Keeping them could cause a miscarriage. Removing them removes my hope. Keeping them makes it more difficult.
This is soo confusing to me.
What if I don't have the surgery and go straight to IVF, and then I have a miscarriage? Will Mike blame me? Will he hate me? What if this kills us? Then there is the other side to this....
What if I have the surgery?  Remove my tubes fix my ovary, and still have a miscarriage? We are just starting the process and already I feel so overwhelmed and scared and confused.
I know I have to trust that I married a good man and he has been nothing but amazing through this whole thing. I am slipping and overwhelmed and I don't know how much he can take. I don't know how much I will be able to take, I thought I could do this I thought I was strong but I cant even get through this first 2 months when all im doing is making a decision.
