Confused Bears and other things

I feel like a very confused bear. Now that the summer heat and humidity have returned to my area I've been very tired and sleep a lot. I want to hibernate but that normally occurs during the winter months for most self respecting bears.   So I guess I'll have to resign from the bear union. That's OK by me, I don't care too much for salmon anyway. My prodigal son finally woke up Sunday and he is very sorry and a bit embarassed about his binge the other night.  He swears he is going to avoid drinking situations and drinking in general from now on. I can tell that he is sincere in what he says. He is genuinely ashamed of his behavior just now. Whether he can stay the course or not, only time will tell.  I wish I had more energy but I guess I'll have to wait until the heat breaks.
