Concerns
Well.....here we go again. Roller coaster ride at work again this week. My boss threw me under the bus twice this week...once during a meeting this past Monday when I was trying to make a presentation regarding the ATS software project that I have been leading. Was arrogant; kept interrupting me and told me that I should find time over the weekend to work like he does. Then my team and I told him that we would put another plan together for rollout dates for the software by Friday, February 5 and when I tried to get in for two minutes of his time....he looked at me with "daggers" in his eyes and said he didn't really have time to speak with me. (However Mark Gibboney was in his office and he provided him with his (John) undivided attention. Told me that he wasn't approving anything at that moment and that I should speak with his assistant to get on his calendar. Then he goes to lunch with Mark like he does quite often and when approached Mark in the afternoon about an email that the team was working on together and askd him if he had gotten John's approval on the email, Mark said I don't think this is a good idea to be so "aggressive" with our deadlines. We need to get together and talk about the quality of this presentation etc. John is not going to go for these deadlines......how ironic that this comes out after they go to lunch together. John was out of the office over the holiday for three weeks; none of us in the dept. made any decisions until he returned. When he returned, he called all of us together to say he wanted us to write down our vacations for the year and he was going to call all of us and "bother" us like each one of us did on his vacation. (BTW.....I never called him over his vacation; and the day before he left (December 23) he took me to lunch to tell me my raise and he asked me if I hadhis cell phone number to contact him if I needed anything.....I told him that I knew better than to do that...I walk in each day to that office like I'm walking on "eggshells".....
